Online Therapy across Utah for Individuals Desiring Increased Connection and Stronger Relationships

Who do I work with?

I work with adults in various seasons of life, including different backgrounds and life experiences who have a strong desire to better their lives and find joy in their relationships.

  • Do you feel stuck in patterns (trust related, conflict avoidant, taking on a caretaker role)that keep you from having the relationships that you want?

  • Are you struggling with inner conflict, emotional distance, or pain from a significant loss (divorce, death, etc.)?

  • Have past traumas left you feeling disconnected from yourself and others?

  • Is there someone in your life currently struggling with an addiction and their use negatively impacts you?

You are not alone in your struggles. I work with adults who want to better understand themselves, begin healing from painful experiences, and create healthier, more fulfilling relationships.

How do I work with clients?

I help my clients learn more about themselves by looking inside to explore what is happening for them. I believe that when we take time to understand what we are feeling from our life experiences we increase our ability to make changes in our lives. I have experienced this firsthand in my personal life and I couldn't have done it all by myself.  Having an outside observer in the form of a therapist can bring a different perspective that sometimes we can’t initially see on our own or from those who are close to us.

It’s exciting for me to see my clients make progress in their personal process of change. And being part of their process is humbling. I believe that therapy can be a collaborative effort, and I try to focus on where you are at in your process and move forward from there. At times, I might use aspects of my relationship with clients to identify unhelpful patterns that might take place in other relationships. In this way, work and change can be done in real time with hopes that it will transfer to life situations and relationships outside of therapy (interpersonal process therapy). I also enjoy using Internal Family Systems (IFS) as a way to explore mixed feelings and internal conflict leading to increased understanding of self and past experiences. My therapy style is less structured and generally focuses on what the client brings to session and then moves from there. The length of therapy may depend on your personal needs and your process, but ultimately you decide when to end therapy.

A little more about me…

Outside of my work, I enjoy taking walks, listening to music, visiting gardens and museums, and doing flower arranging. I also like to bake and eat delicious food with family. I value having quality time with those I care about and I enjoy the simple things of life. I am a fully licensed clinical mental health counselor (CMHC) in the state of Utah and have been working with clients for over 4 years. I received my Master’s Degree from Westminster College in Salt Lake City, Utah in 2023.
